This 5 minute guided practice is adapted from psychologist and self-compassion expert's Kristin Neff's practice of the same name. In this short guided exercise we learn how to use the three components of self-compassion to meet our suffering: mindfulness, shared or common humanity and kindness. 

This exercise is very helpful if you are going through a stressful time, and learning the components of self-compassion will equip you with the resources to cope with your suffering and help you build resilience.
